    Air conditioner compressor testing method and difference

    The compressor used in variable frequency air conditioner is different from that used in common air conditioner, not only the internal structure is different, but also the test is different.

     1. Motor difference

    The common air conditioning compressor motor is a single-phase motor, with two groups of stator windings, one is the starting winding and the other is the operating winding: the AC variable frequency compressor motor is a thousand phase motor, and its stator winding is three windings with basically the same resistance value, star connection method.

     2. Motor testing

    As the variable frequency compressor motor is a three-phase AC asynchronous motor, the three-phase winding resistance is basically the same. For example, the DC resistance of each phase of compressor motor used in the Panasonic variable frequency air conditioner kfr-35w / bpa1 is 1.8 Ω. When measuring the DC resistance of 1000 phase winding, it is better to use a digital multimeter, and the higher the accuracy is, the better it will be, so that the small difference will be tested.

    For example: the compressor model is Sanyang C-6RV73HOW in Haier KFR-36BP variable frequency air conditioner. Its DC resistance is as follows (ambient temperature 25 ℃): 1.3170 Ω between R-S; 1.375 Ω between S-T; 1.376 Ω between T-R. 

    In general, if the measured resistance is about 2 Ω, and basically equal, it can be considered that the compressor motor is good. When wiring, it can be fixed according to the mark on the compressor wiring cover. When it is impossible to distinguish the three ends of R, s and t (c) and how to connect them, the wire can be connected to the three terminals of the compressor first. If the compressor shakes, it indicates that the phase sequence of the compressor is wrong. Adjust any two wires to change the direction of the compressor.
